It is located in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. Just a few minutes from Cancun Beach, Playa del Carmen or Tulum.

Getting there is very easy, you can take a bus at ADO from Cancun or Playa del Carmen.

By taxi, although it is more expensive.

Xcaret Experience

From the moment I arrived at the fabulous entrance to Xcaret, I knew it was going to be an extraordinary day.

The first TIP is Don’t forget to bring Biodegradable Sunscreen! This is very important, we have to avoid causing damage to the delicate ecosystems. I found a very good article that explains a little more about the importance of Biodegradable Sunscreen.

Do not worry about finding it, since in many places in the tourist areas you can buy it, or even in the shop at the entrance. You will enter a huge palapa where you can find everything you need for your visit.

The most important is to take a free map of the park, they have it in many languages. The park is huge, approximately 80 hectares. But don’t worry, on the map everything is marked and it is easy to locate.

Well, ready with my map, I started my adventure. I was very excited about this amazing Eco Park.

Brought back amazing memories Luisa. Xcaret was the first place that we visited in Mexico and we fell in love with it immediately. It’s a paradise by itself. The palapas, the underground river and we even had Mexican BBQ party there. I would love to go back again! What a beautiful place!
